Christmas Festivities!

We have many family traditions during Christmas time and this year it was even more special with Reid.  Even though he is too young to understand the meaning of Christmas, kids just bring so much joy to the day/week.  Reid was sick with croup and teething, but was a trooper.  Kevin also had to work both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but was able to join us for dinner.  It all started a few weeks before with sugar cookie decorating with my family at our house, a visit to Santa, and a Christmas concert at Saddleback Church.  Then our cousin Christmas was the weekend before at my parents.  Christmas Eve we went to a Saddleback service and then to the Amundson's for a delicious Italian dinner.  Finally, Christmas day we went to brunch at my parents and dinner at my grandma's. Two days after Christmas we celebrated with Kevin's brothers and look forward to celebrating with the rest of the family when they return from Mexico.  We are so fortunate to have family so close, it makes for easy traveling with a little one.  Reid got spoiled by Santa and family, we had to make some more room for all his toys.  Christmas is not only a time to be with family, but also to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Savior!
