Reid Turns One!

After lots of preparation for his big first birthday at our local park, we were left to deal with bad weather.  Even though we had to make a quick move back to our house due to the drizzle, Reid had a blast.  It was a great day celebrating with our family and friends!  It is so crazy to think that he is already one, where does the time go?  We have not gone to the doctor's for his well check, so no stats, because he got sick.  The party must of pooped him out...he most likely has RSV and an ear infection.  He is on breathing treatments, steroids, and amoxicillin and is still the happiest TODDLER!  He is not walking yet, but hopefully soon.  If we hold his hand he practically runs.  We are working on transitioning away from the bottle.  It has been a battle because he has had a bottle since he was newborn.  Reid is also quite the talker...always responding to us talking, telling stories, doing fake laughs...he cracks us up.  Happy 1st Birthday Reid!  We love you so much!

Aquarium of the Pacific!

Last Thursday Kev and I took Reid to the Aquarium of the Pacific.  It was a last minute trip after I found out I got in free for being a teacher.  Reid absolutely loved looking at all the fish in the huge aquariums.  This was the first time we had been there and we really enjoyed it.  There were a lot of schools there, which I heard it is like that all the time, but we just tried to avoid them.  We will definitely take him back there when he is a little older.

Reid has become such a little sponge lately, picking up on everything we do or say.  He is constantly cracking us up with his attempt at talking back to us and just his personality in general.  Here are some pictures!
