You both are amazing Dad's!  Thanks for always being there for me dad, I love you.  Kevin Happy First Father's Day!  Reid is VERY lucky to have you as his Daddy..  I feel so blessed to have these to Dad's in my life.

Palm Desert!

Palm Desert has become my families mini vacation destination.  We all love the sun and the relaxation that the desert offers, not to mention it is only an hour and a half drive.  We have been out there three times since the beginning of May and Reid has done GREAT every time.  He lounges under the umbrella at the pool all day.  When we go to the desert we always stay at the Marriott Villas, spend the whole day at the pool, BBQ for dinner, play some bocce ball on the golf course, and end the night with some card games.  It is always a blast and so many wonderful memories.  Thanks Mom and Dad, can't wait for many more PS/PD memories!

10 Week Appointment

Today we went to Reid's 10 week doctors appointment.  He did great getting his shots again, just like last time-harder on mommy than him.  Here are his measurements:
12 lbs. 11 oz. (57th percentile)
23.3 in. long (45th percentile)
They said he is looking healthy and doing great.  We go back at 4 months and the doctor said we will talk about solid foods-woohoo!

Legoland

Yesterday, Kevin, Reid, and I were fortunate enough to go to Legoland.  My sister and mom have season passes and they had some free passes so we went along with them.  Reid is obviously too young to enjoy it, but neither Kevin nor I had been there before and wanted to see what it was like.  We had the best "tour guides" and really enjoyed our trip.  We will definitely have to go back when Reid is older.  They have some cute kid rides, play areas, and a neat aquarium.  Thanks Nichole, (Emily), and Mom for a great time!

This and that....

Reid continues to do more and more each week.  He now smiles at us, talks a lot, sits on his bumbo, can grip onto things pretty tightly, wakes up twice at night (hoping we can stretch that soon), and loves his crib.  We have been keeping busy and Reid is such a trooper.  I can't believe he is almost 2 months already-WOW!

6 Weeks

Reid had his 6 week wellness check yesterday.  He weighed 10 lbs. 10 oz. and is 21.5 in. He has grown quite a bit since his last appointment.  He also had to get three shots, which was probably harder on me than him.  Reid was such a champ!  The pediatrician said everything looked great and he seems to be reaching all the developmental stages thus far.  We are so blessed to have a healthy little guy.  Being 6 weeks I also got the okay from my doctor to exercise-woohoo!  I have absolutely loved going back to the gym and getting back in the routine.  I am looking forward to Fall Coed Soccer with my friends as well.
